Players,
The WSSA Board of Directors decided, regretfully, to suspend team practices, the one-day Spring Training session
and the regular season restart immediately until further notice. The increased positive COVID cases in our area and several recent COVID related incidents involving members of the WSSA (that have been resolved with no as yet determined detriment to members) has forced us to make this decision.
We will be closely monitoring both the governor’s phase reopening plan and that of our local counties to make a determination as to when and how we may restart those activities. While we know this is disappointing news we are taking these actions in the best interest of the health and safety of our membership. Unless requested otherwise your membership fee will be credited towards next year.
We look forward to getting everyone back on the field of play as soon as possible. Until then please be safe.
Regards,
Walter Aaron - Commissioner
