Phil Rose All Star Classic
The All Star Game between players selected from both the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions was a success. One team was named the Americans and coached by Richy Price and Larry Crane. The other was called the Nationals and coached by Bill Manley and John Fort . The weather cooperated and a lively 9 inning ball game resulted in a 24 to 7 victory for the Nationals team. Ken Denne and Harry Rowe umpired the game.
Before the game, Phil Rose’s family was recognized for the contribution Phil had made in founding the League.
