Message from Jay Harrington, President of the Coastal Division
Guys, I want to thank every player in the Coastal division for making our season a successful one.  The fact that we were able to get all 60 games played despite the weather and unplayable fields was nothing short of great.  It could not have been done without your cooperation and understanding. I want to thank the 4 guys, McCarthy, Dominelli, Last and Allen, for their leadership and time that they have given to their teams, GREAT WORK!!!!  I hope to see you all at the luncheon on the 21st of October at noon so we can all be together one last time before the holidays  Again, thanks for allowing me to be the president and hope that we all stay healthy for the upcoming season.                                                                                                     10/1/22

Message from Jay Harrington, President of the Coastal Division, Regarding the Upcoming Player Draft
Just want to give all players that will be in the draft for Coastal teams a realistic idea of what may happen after draft is completed.  First, we will have a maximum of 15 to 16 players on each team.  With this in mind there will be players that will not get drafted after the maximum players have been chosen.  The only recourse for those not chosen is to enter into the Legacy draft or Atlantic draft.  This may not be appealing to some but for a manager to try and get everyone a fair amount of playing time, well with 15 or 16 guys on the roster some will not get the playing time they hope for.  Whereas if you decide that you will go to Legacy your playing time may have the chance of increasing. The only other alternative is to drop out, which I sincerely hope is not the case.  Just want to be upfront with all those in the draft that they know how things are going to be done. Hopefully everything works out to everyone's satisfaction.  Our draft day is March 30th,  all players drafted will be notified by individual managers.  Those not chosen will be sent an email stating their status.

Message from Jay Harrington, New President of the Coastal Division
Guys and Gal,

I would like to just take a moment to say how honored I am to represent all of you as President of the Coastal Division. Also, I would like to let you know that it is my intention to be transparent in all if not most of the goings on related to "our" division. I recommend that each of you when you get a chance read the minutes of each of our manager's meetings. I plan to have every meeting documented so you all will be in the loop. My feeling is that this is "your" division and you should know all the things planned or implemented.

If you have a question or heard a rumor or have a problem I ask that you send me an email to [email protected] and I will address it with you and if necessary have the managers have a say as to what needs to be done. If there is an issue that I feel the players need to decide than I will request each manager take a poll and the matter will be decided by the majority of players; after all this is your league and you should have some input. I have my first manager's meeting scheduled soon so be on the lookout for it. I will give you all my best shot at representing the league and hope to run things smoothly.
