ian Summer Roberts (first row center and above right) plays on the UNCW Women's Softball team and she has spent the last 2 Coastal practice sessions with Ortho Wilmington as part of a class project.
She sent Brad Van Amberg the following email April 14: "Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to come out and play with your team. I learned everything I needed for class and really enjoyed myself. I will see you on Tuesday cheering loud in the stands. Thank you again to everyone!" Darian proved she can REALLY field, run, and hit and is surely an asset to her UNCW team. In about 50 years or so, we hope she remembers Wilmington Senior Softball and continues to play ball and have fun as a senior. Thank you and Good Luck, Darian! |
