Our newest sponsor, Sound Retirement Solutions, has set a time and place for our members to attend one of their seminars. They have a wide range of knowledge to help seniors. Space is limited, so please respond to Ashley Hopkins ([email protected]) or Mike McDowell ([email protected]) to get on the list or if you have questions.
The date and time secured for the WSSA is 6:00pm, on May 20th, at the WWAY Event Center, 1224 Magnolia Village Way, Leland, NC, 28451. The capacity is 100 people and attendees are encouraged to bring their spouses to the class in order to understand the process. RSVPs are requested in advance should there be overflow and a need to host additional seating at a future date. This is a high demand topic. Invitations can be sent via email or USPS, whichever you prefer, but we find email is quicker and easier. Contact Ashley or Mike if you wish to attend this event. Hors d’oeuvres, water and coffee will also be provided.

Celebrate 30 Years of WSSA at Dinner Dance, May 22.
Get your tickets now for the Wilmington Senior Softball Association 30th Anniversary Celebration. Celebrate the remarkable history of the WSSA with dinner and dancing, from 6:00 to 10:00pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Enjoy a buffet dinner, with tea, lemonade and water provided. There will be a Cash Bar for beer and wine. The event will be held at the Wilmington Moose Lodge #343, 4610 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend so we can provide the caterer with a head count. Wives, husbands, girl friends or boy friends are welcome and actually encouraged to attend. The cost is $30 per person, payable to WSSA Treasurer Dave Reardon ahead of time or at the door.
We can also use some help to set up at 2PM the same day, or to help us pack up at the end of the event. Please let us know if you can help.
